What Does "Living Life to the Fullest" Look Like?
Hopefully by now you’ve heard about this business that I started with my brother called Hard-Mode. It’s been two months since we officially launched on our big day at Wildplay. Maybe you’re wondering what exactly is Hard-Mode. I would describe Hard-Mode as a lifestyle brand. But more important is why did we create Hard-Mode?
It all started with conversations about life that I had with my brother, and from those talks was born the idea of Hard-mode. We want to challenge ourselves to play life on Hard-Mode and encourage others to live life to the fullest.
We released our newest video this week. It’s a momentous video that really captures our belief in living life to the fullest!
The idea for the video started with climbing Mt. Benson first thing in the morning to see the sunrise, but I thought that wasn’t enough for a video. We needed to do more and we needed to do it on the longest day of the year. So we planned to do a bunch of activities on the summer solstice.
At first we were just thinking about fun activities, but something didn’t feel quite right about it and we struggled with coming up with a plan. The point of the video was to live life to the fullest on the longest day of the year, but axe throwing didn’t feel like living life to the fullest and neither did bowling. We started questioning what does it really mean to live life to the fullest? We realized it wasn’t just about having fun (although that’s an important part of it) and we figured out what else we believe makes life fulfilling.
Watch the video to find out what living life to the fullest looks like for us and let us know what does living life to the fullest look like for you!
A major thing we want to keep doing with Hard-Mode is building and involving the community. If you want to be a part of our plans for future events and videos, get in touch!
Also we’re excited to now be offering martial arts classes through Hard-Mode! I’ve been training with my instructor Tim for seven years and working out with Tim has kept me in shape and grounded in the toughest of times. We’re looking forward to being able to share the ancient teachings of Tai Chi and Shaolin Kung Fu with more people.
